Foundation partner of the Melbourne Rebels, RaboDirect has been instrumental in helping establish the Rebels in the Super Rugby competition since the team’s genesis in 2011, supporting the Rebels on their overseas tour to the UK and Ireland, and partnering the Melbourne Rising in their first season in the National Rugby Championship in 2014. RaboDirect leveraged the partnership to develop and communicate its products and brand values, and to connect with the Victorian Rugby Union audience and reward its customers through a unique inner sanctum ticketing and hospitality program.
The bank executed a comprehensive integrated marketing campaign over each of the five years and provided more than 6,000 customers with the chance to experience our unique RaboRugby behind-the-scenes inner sanctum program.
TEAPOT Digital worked with Acrobatt Marketing on providing a range of game day activations for fan engagement. These included OUR SHOUT competition and SUPER FAN PHOTO GALLERY. We built a website that stored images taken from outside the stadium. Upon activating a unique code, the fan photographs were then embedded over existing team/action branded photos and emailed back to the fan or shared on social media.
